Peacebuilder Awards to honor Waukesha Service Club
Dawn Borowski presented the Plowshare Fair Trade Marketplace 2026 group Peacebuilder Award to the Waukesha Service Club Thrift Shop on May 4th. The 100-plus volunteers were commended for offering socially responsible shopping at the Thrift Shop on West Avenue. They use the funds raised to assist families in need and provide grants to many nonprofit organizations.
The Waukesha Service Club that has served Waukesha for 96 years is also honored in the Celebrating Peacebuilders video that premiered on April 25th at the start of the Plowshare Spring fundraiser which continued until the end of May.
