The Waukesha Service Club’s Family Assistance program delivers urgent aid to local individuals and families. We partner with case workers and Social Service agencies to meet immediate needs across Waukesha County.
Why do our neighbors need help? The reasons are endless and often heartbreaking. Here is how your generosity has made a difference:
Securing Housing: We provided moving fees and the first month’s rent for a 69-year-old woman priced out of her apartment after 23 years.
Providing Transportation: We purchased bus passes for a mother of three to get her children to daycare and reach her new job.
Preventing Eviction: We covered one month of rent for a young man who lost his job, giving him a lifeline while he applied for new work.
Thanks to your generosity, Family Assistance provided $31,000 in vital aid to over 140 local families this past year!
